Join me for a day of botanical perfumery in the lush oasis that is Walworth Gardens!

This is a one-day hands-on workshop covering the beginner basics and tips to get you started in using essential oils safely, including good basic knowledge of key essential oils and blending techniques.

The workshop is structured to allow adequate time for group and individual work , discussion and questions and answer sessions.

We will cover:

• A brief history of perfumery and perfume materials - with samples to handle and smell

• Understanding perfume structure, classification and fragrance families

• The art and science of blending, discussing and smelling a variety of essential oils

• Perfume vocabulary, aroma-psychology and smell memory

• Safety, dilutions, storage and record keeping

Create and take home your own 10ml natural perfume rollerball, together with workshop notes and resource list.

Fee is £75 and includes tuition, materials and your take home perfume.
